Seven years inside the world of private superyachts.
SG Marine & Tech was founded on seven years working directly for UHNW owners, on the build and the day-to-day operation of their superyachts. That means sitting on the owner's side of the table: understanding how the family actually uses the vessel, and making sure the technology delivered by the yard matches it.
My background is in enterprise networking and audio-visual integration. On board, that experience covers everything from the core switching and firewalls to the cabins guests interact with: Crestron control, AV distribution over DM-NVX, onboard servers, and the monitoring that tells the crew about a problem before the owner notices it.
I have supported vessels from early specification through construction, acceptance testing and delivery, and then stayed on through their operational life. I now bring that same experience to private residences and estates, and to owners, captains, managers and shipyards who want an independent technical expert they can trust.
